The National Assembly’s Standing Committee concluded its 23rd meeting in Hanoi on December 24 after reviewing the outcomes of the NA’s sixth session and exchanging views on preparations for the next.
During the two-day meeting under the chair of NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, members also raised their opinions on a plan to implement the Constitution and approved the 2013 working programme of the committee.
They discussed the committee’s draft report reviewing the enforcement of the 2001 Law on Organisation of the National Assembly.
At this meeting, the committee passed the Ordinance on Mobile Police and exchanged opinions on the outcomes of NA agencies’ international cooperative programmes in 2013 as well as orientations for next year.-VNA
