NA Standing Committee’s 26th session to be held next week

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee will convene its 26 th meeting from March 10-14, focusing on law-building work, according to the NA Office.

During the meeting, members will raise their opinions on the amended Real Estate Business Law, the amended Housing Law, the Law on Citizens’ Identity, the amended State Budget Law, the revised Law on the Organisation of the People’s Procuracy and the revised Law on the Organisation of the People’s Court.

They will also mull over the Law on Entry, Exit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam , the revised Notary Public Law, the revised Law on Customs and the ordinance on penalty on administrative violations.

Other topics up for discussion include the 2014-2016 allocation of additional Government bonds for projects scheduled to be finished in the 2014-2015 period, the amendment and supplement of Resolution No. 35/2012/QH13 on the vote of confidence to assess the performance of officials elected or approved by the National Assembly and People’s Councils, and preparations for the NA’s seventh sitting.-VNA
