New Delhi (VNA) – Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan arrived in New Delhi, India, on December 8, beginning the official visit to India at the invitation of Senate President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Speaker of the Lower House Sumitra Mahajan.
The visit is expected to deepen the relations between the two countries as well as actualise their comprehensive strategic partnership.
It will bolster wide-ranging cooperation between the two countries when they are heading to celebrations of the 45th anniversary of their diplomatic ties and the 10th anniversary of the strategic partnership next year.
The visit will also step up the connection between the two law-making bodies and lay down a firm foundation for the long-term stable relations amid Vietnam’s intensive and extensive integration into the globe.-VNA
