National Assembly sets target of GDP growth at 6.6-6.8% in 2019
- With 92.16 % approval votes, the NA on November 8 adopted a resolution on socio-economic development plan for 2019, targeting GDP growth of 6.6-6.8 percent and CPI growth of about 4 percent.
Thanks to stable socio-economic development, the scale of the economy expanded to 5.5 quadrillion VND (about 240.5 billion USD), 1.3 times higher than that recorded in 2015.
The National Assembly deputies voted to adopt a resolution on the 2019 socio-economic development plan, putting forth a GDP growth of 6.6-6.8 percent for the year during their on-going sixth session in Hanoi on November 8.
