National Congress to honour outstanding children

A total of 282 children nationwide will be honoured for their outstanding performance in the time-honoured emulation campaign among Vietnamese children to follow Uncle Ho’s teachings at a national congress this month.

The Ho Chi Minh YoungPioneers’ Union’s Central Council said on June 1 that there will be manydelegates representing ethnic minority children at the 8th NationalCongress of Uncle Ho’s Good Nephews and Nieces.

The congresswill take place from June 10-13 in Hanoi and central Nghe An provincewith a wide range of activities, including a ceremony to pay tribute tolate President Ho Chi Minh in the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a visit to thelate President’s birthplace, and the Temple of Literature.
