Hanoi (VNA) - President Tran Dai Quangon June 30 sent a message of congratulations to Canadian Governor General DavidJohnston on the country’s 150th National Day (July 1).

Also on this occasion, Prime Minister NguyenXuan Phuc cabled a congratulatory message to his Canadian counterpart JustinTrudeau.

Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen ThiKim Ngan sent messages of congratulations to Speaker of the Senate George Fureyand Speaker of the House of Commons Geoff Regan.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of ForeignAffairs Pham Binh Minh also sent a message of congratulations to CanadianForeign Minister Christia Freeland.

On the same day, President Tran Dai Quang sentseparate messages of congratulations to President of the Republic of Burundi PierreNkurunziza and President of the Republic Rwanda Paul Kagame on the 55thNational Day of the two countries (July 1).

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of ForeignAffairs Pham Binh Minh also sent congratulatory messages to Burundian Minister of External Relationsand International Cooperation Alain Aime Nyamitwe and Rwandan Minister ofForeign Affairs and Cooperation Louise Mushikiwabo on the occasion.-VNA
