Nearly 18,000 new enterprises were established in the capital city of Hanoi in the first seven months of this year, with a total registered capital of 162.1 trillion VND.
New business registrations in Hanoi saw a 24.3% decline, with 2,045 new enterprises receiving certificates. The total registered capital for the new establishments dropped by 53.4% to 13.8 trillion VND (546.1 million USD).
A total of 76,179 enterprises resumed operations in Vietnam in 2024, according to the Agency for Business Registration under the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
