The Japanese Government signed in Hanoi on June 14 an agreement to provide non-refundable aid to build two schools in Nam Dinh and Quang Tri provinces at a total cost of almost 225,000 USD.
The two new schools will be built in Lien Minh commune in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh province and in Trieu Thanh commune in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province, to replace the existing ones which are dilapidated and over-crowded.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam, Yasuaki Tanizaki, said he believed that the new schools will improve the children’s learning environment and contribute to the friendship that exists between both countries and peoples.-VNA
