The four largest importers of Vietnamese seafood are the US, Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea and they together accounted for 54.1 percent of the total value.

Shipments increased in the Netherlands (28.2 percent), Hong Kong (23.6 percent) and the UK (19.9 percent).

From January to September, Vietnam spent over 1.2 billion USD purchasing seafood from other countries, up 21.3 percent from the same time last year.-VNA
