On the day’s afternoon, fiveCOVID-19 patients, including four Vietnamese and one Danish national, weredischarged from the Hanoi-based National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No. 2,raising the number of recoveries to 225. All of them will be kept in quarantinefor the next 14 days.
The remaining 45 patients are now under treatment at six health facilities.
Also on the day, the country reportedfive people who had previously been given the all-clear tested positiveagain while still under post-treatment quarantine. Two of them are currentlybeing treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No. 2 while twoothers have been admitted to the Quang Ninh Hospital Number 2 and Binh Thuan province’sTraditional Medicine Hospital.
Three seriously ill patientsnumbered 19, 91 and 161 are still under intensive treatment.
Nearly 55,000 people arecurrently under quarantine and having their health status monitored nationwide.
