Hanoi (VNA) – No Vietnamese have been reported to be victims in the shooting in Munich city, Germany, on July 23, which left many casualties, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Vietnam’s Embassy in Germany also warned Vietnamese citizens in Germany to keep calm, stay alert and avoid crowded areas.
The embassy has established two hotlines at +49 162 5391 500, +49 152 0377 4978 and +49 176 3102 2691 for calls in emergency situation or any report on any Vietnamese falling victim to the attack. The General Consulate in Frankfurt is also operating a hotline at +49 152 1304 1728 to support Vietnamese nationals.
The Foreign Ministry said the embassy is keeping close contact with the German Federal Criminal Police Office on the incident.-VNA
Munich brothers' performance to open German Festival
