The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group’s PV Drilling Company will supply its oil drilling rig to Malaysia ’s Petronas for the first time.
Under a contract to this effect signed in Hanoi on September 8, PV Drilling will sell its self-elevating offshore drilling rig to the Petronas Carigali Vietnam Limited Co.
PV Drilling is currently a leading drilling company in Southeast Asia and it is striving to become of Asia ’s three largest companies in this field.
According to PV Drilling, the company signed a three-year contract in July with Hoang Long JOC to provide the PV DRILLING rig use in the White Rhino oilfield.
The company estimates its revenues and after-tax profit for this year will reach 6.5 trillion VND and 950 billion VND, respectively, exceeding the target./.
