(Photo: Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum)“Vui hoc ve tai nha” (Having fun learning to paint athome) is an experience project that provides the kids with access to videoclips about various painting activities on the museum’s official website,enabling them to play with their imagination and relieve boredom during thelengthy period of social distancing.
The video tutorials instruct children on how to step bystep create their own artworks, from what tools and materials they need toprepare, which are easy to find at home like leaves, flowers, or recycledproducts, to how to use them.
The project is expected to not only inspire the kids’imagination and trigger their passion for arts but also raised awareness ofenvironmental protection.
Last month, the Hanoi-based museum rolled out a 3Dvirtual tour in both Vietnamese and English, enabling the public to explore itremotely.
The launch of the free tour is hoped to allow arts loversto enjoy the museum’s various collections of national treasures, paintings andsculptures anywhere and anytime, using their Internet-connected smartphones orcomputers.
It is part of the museum’s efforts to get closer to thepublic given that the COVID-19 outbreak has forced it to shut down formonths./.
