Hanoi (VNA) – Ninety-six outstanding enterprises in the “Vietnamesepeople prioritise using made-in-Vietnam goods” campaign will be announced at anawards ceremony to be broadcast live on VTV1 on March 17.

Specifically, 10 business will be awardedwith the “Top 10 Vietnamese product brands” title, while 10 others will benamed in the “Top 10 businesses holding excellent Vietnamese brand services”category.

The remaining will receive the “outstanding Vietnamesebrand enterprises” award.

The competition, the second of its kind, waslaunched in October 2017, with nearly 300 enterprises from across Vietnamnominated.

The event, held for the first time in 2014,aims to honour outstanding Vietnamese products and services, and encouragedomestic enterprises to invest in production and business and take advantage ofscience and technology advances to increase product quality.

Speaking at a press conference in Hanoi onMarch 12, Le Viet Nga, deputy head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’sDomestic Market Department, said the awards ceremony is in preparation for the10th anniversary of the “Vietnamese people prioritise usingmade-in-Vietnam goods”  campaign to beheld in 2019. -VNA

Transparent business environment appealing to foreign investors

During the first half of 2025, the total registered FDI reached 21.51 billion USD, up 32.6% year-over-year. This includes 9.3 billion USD in new investments, down 9.6%; 8.95 billion USD in additional capital for existing projects, a 2.2-fold increase; and 3.28 billion USD through capital contributions and share purchases, up 73.6%.
