HCM City (VNA) – Over 1,000 people attendeda career fair co-organised by the Korea TradeInvestment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and the Korean Consul General inHo Chi Minh City on December 15.
Forty-five businesses including such leading RoK enterprises and groups as CJGroup Vietnam, Lotte Cinema, E-Mart Vietnam, Taekwang Vina, Keb Hana Bank tookpart in the event.
They offered a wide range of vacancies, including positions in the fields offoreign languages, economics, marketing, finance, banking, telecommunicationelectronics, designing, chemicals, and garment-textile.
Kim Jae Hyun, HR & Admin Directorat Lotte Vietnam, said his company wants to recruit a lot of employees,including HR staff, salespersons and sales team leaders.
Most of the candidates are inexperienced and needfurther training, therefore, those with dedication and commitments will beselected, Kim added.
Director General of KOTRA HCM City Park Sang Hyupsaid the number of RoK investors in Vietnam is expected to rise, thereforetheir demand for recruitment will increase accordingly, for both unskilledworkers and senior managers.
He suggested Vietnamese labourers be equippedwith foreign languages, communication skills, and technical knowledge in order towork for RoK firms.
Currently, around one million Vietnameselabourers are working in nearly 4,500 RoK firms in Vietnam.-VNA
