The identities of the martyrs are still unknown.

During the 2022-2023 dry season, a team from MilitaryRegion 2 will continue to search, verify information, and repatriate remains of Vietnamesevolunteer soldiers and experts who died during international missions in northern Laos.
Military Region 2 has carried out such work since 1994,contributing to the verification of 4,300 pieces of information about martyrs'graves, finding and repatriating remains of nearly 1,800 martyrs./.
