Paramount Network, Baby First stop airing in Vietnam

Foreign TV channels Paramount Network and Baby First have officially stopped broadcasting on Vietnam's pay-TV services.

Hanoi (VNA) – Foreign TV channels ParamountNetwork and Baby First have officially stopped broadcasting on Vietnam's pay-TVservices.

According to the Authority of Broadcasting and ElectronicInformation, the Ministry of Information and Communications revoked a certificategranted to the International Media Joint Stock Company (IMC) on providing ParamountNetwork channel on Vietnam's pay-TV services, and another allowing Ho Chi MinhCity Television (HTV) to edit this foreign channel.

The ministry also took back a certificate licensed to MskyCo. Ltd. on the distribution of Baby First in Vietnam, and another to theVietnam News Agency TV channel (Vnews) on editing programmes of this channel.

At present, 55 foreign channels are licensed to provide services in Vietnam./.

ASEAN city leaders explore Hanoi’s heritage sites

At the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, delegates visited the Doan Mon Gate and learnt about the formation and development of the ancient capital through different historical periods at display spaces. One of the highlights was the presentation of complimentary Ao Dai to Czech residents and international visitors.
