In a message ofthanks to President Obama, the Party chief said he and his entourage arepleased with the fruitful outcomes of the official visit which came incoincidence with the 20 th anniversary of the normalisation ofbilateral ties, saying that he is deeply impressed by the US country andpeople.

He said he is convinced that the deepeningof the Vietnam-US comprehensive partnership will push bilateral tiesforward for the sake of each people and for peace, stability,cooperation and development in Asia-Pacific.

At theend of the message, the leader conveyed wish that the US, under theleadership of Barack Obama and his government, will continue thrivingacross the board and playing its increasingly active role in the regionand the world.
