Party chief’s article on socialism shows CPV’s dialectical vision, willpower

Havana (VNA) – Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong’s article “Severaltheoretical and practical issues on socialism and the path towards socialism inVietnam” shows the dialectical vision and willpower of the Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV), according to Cuban researcher Rosario del Pilar Pentón Díaz.

Rosario del Pilar Pentón Díaz, member of the Party CentralCommittee and Rector of the Ñico López Higher Studies School of the Party, saidthat the article is a valuable document from the angles of theory andmethodology.

Party General Secretary Trong highlighted the dialecticalvision of the CPV, and showed his audacious views in assessing the complexityof the transition to socialism and the creative interpretation ofMarxism-Leninism.

She emphasised that the Party leader analysedeconomic, political and ideological trends, and spotlighted both successes andshortcomings of the path to socialism in Vietnam.

She appreciated the principles that Trong mentioned in the article such as theParty's role in engaging people in a common social building project and the roleof the people as the subject of power. These basic principles ensure thesustainability and continuity of the socialism process, she added./.
