The fifth session of the Inspection Commission of the 11 th Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) wrapped up on Aug. 22, after sitting for five days.
Under the chairmanship of the commission’s Chairman Ngo Van Du, Politburo member and Secretary of the CPVCC, the meeting deliberated a number of contents in the Political Bureau’s statement regarding the building of the guidance for the implementation of inspection, supervisory and disciplinary regulations written in the seventh and eighth chapters of the Party Statute in preparation for submission to the third meeting of the CPVCC.
The meeting also considered and made decisions on violations by a number of Party members.
The Inspection Commission elected Mai Truc, CPVCC member and Deputy Head of the CPVCC’s Commission for Organisation, as Vice Chairman of the Inspection Commission and assigned tasks for a number of the commission’s members./.
