The Party chief said the VietnameseParty, State and people always attach importance to developing thecomprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between the twocountries, adding that he values the outcomes of Vice Premier ZhangGaoli’s talks with his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc onorientations and measures to develop bilateral ties, includingresult-oriented cooperation in economics, trade and investment and thetranslation of agreements into concrete projects.

Hestressed that the two sides should strictly carry out commonperceptions reached by their Parties and States’ leaders, fosterresult-oriented exchanges and cooperation in all fields, and deal withexisting issues step by step for the sake of the two peoples andregional peace, stability and collaboration.

VicePremier Zhang Gaoli applauded the sound progress in the relationshipbetween the Parties and the nations, especially since the official Chinavisit by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong recently.

He praised the accomplishments that the Vietnamese Party and peoplehave gained in their doi moi (reform) period along with the country’sincreasing stature in the region and the world.

Heaffirmed the Chinese Party and State place special importance on thetraditional amity and all-faceted cooperation with Vietnam, noting thatChina is willing to join hands with Vietnam in consolidating theircomprehensive strategic cooperative partnership for the fundamental andlong-term benefits of the two peoples.-VNA
