Hanoi (VNA) – Headof the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong ThiMai visited Archbishop of the Hanoi Archdiocese, Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon inHanoi on December 16 on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holiday.

Mai said the socio-economic andnational defence achievements over the past 30 years of renovation are partlyattributable to active contributions by religious dignitaries and followers ingeneral and Catholics in particular.

She hailed dignitaries andfollowers of the Hanoi Archdiocese for complying with the Party and State’spolicies and laws over the past years.

She thanked the Cardinal,Archbishop and dignitaries for cooperating with local authorities and people inthe city to develop the diocese and follow the principle of living gospelamidst the nation.

Cardinal Nguyen Van Nhon, for hispart, expressed hope that the country would reap more successes next year, withthe support from the Vietnam Catholic Church.-VNA

Vietnam’s digital map updates 34 provincial-level administrative units

An 1:1,000,000-scale administrative map of Vietnam online and in digital *.pdf format will be released once the National Assembly’s Resolution on the reorganisation of provincial-level administrative units in 2025 takes effect in oder to promptly support the Prime Minister’s direction and administration, support state management by ministries, sectors, and localities; and meet requirements of organisations and individuals.
