Party official welcomes Mexican guest

Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh welcomed Secretary for External Relations of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) of Mexico Javier Vega in Hanoi on July 27, saying that the Communist Party of Vietnam treasures its friendly cooperation with Latin America, including Mexico.
Politburo member and permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Le Hong Anh welcomed Secretary for External Relations of the ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) of Mexico Javier Vega in Hanoi on July 27, saying that the Communist Party of Vietnam treasures its friendly cooperation with Latin America, including Mexico.

The host congratulated the PRI on its achievements, especially its success in the mid-term election in June.

He also informed his guest about Vietnam’s developments and preparations for the 12th National Party Congress slated for early 2016.

Secretary Vega, in turn, expressed his determination to foster ties between the two ruling Parties, States and peoples as well as tap cooperative potentials across economics, investment, tourism and education.

Earlier, the guest also held talks with Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief of the Party Central Committee’s Office Tran Quoc Vuong, during which both sides exchanged views on global issues of shared concern and discussed measures to foster friendship between the two Parties and countries.

During the stay, the Mexican delegation also paid tribute to the late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum and held working sessions with the Foreign Ministry and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration.-VNA
