A passenger boat capsized in waters off East Java province of western Indonesia on June 17, leaving at least two people dead and ten other missing.

Hanoi (VNA)- A passenger boat capsized in waters off East Java province of westernIndonesia on June 17, leaving at least two people dead and ten other missing.

According to local officials, the boat departed Raas Island of Raassub-district and was heading to Kalianget.

Search and rescue force have saved 30 people.

The search and rescue work continues while the cause of the incident has yetbeen determined.-VNA
