The flag salute ceremony was simultaneously held at six other locations across the country: Hang Duong Cemetery (Con Dao special zone) and Thu Ngu Flagpole in Ho Chi Minh City; Tri-border Marker at Vietnam–Laos–Cambodia Friendship Cultural House in Quang Ngai province; Mui Doi – Hon Dau in Khanh Hoa province; Lung Cu Flagpole in Tuyen Quang province; and Ca Mau Cape Flagpole in Ca Mau province.
