Petrol prices down after seven consecutive increases

Petrol prices were adjusted down from 3pm on July 1 by the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance, after seven consecutive increases.

Hanoi (VNA) – Petrol prices were adjusted down from 3pm on July 1 bythe Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Finance, after seven consecutiveincreases.

The retail price of RON95 dropped by 110 VND toa maximum of 32,763 VND (1.41 USD) per litre, while that of E5RON92 bio-fuelwas down 411 VND to 30,891 VND per litre.

Meanwhile, the prices of diesel 0.05S and kerosene decreasedby 404 VND and 432 VND to 29,615 VND and 28,353 VND per litre, respectively.

The two ministries also decided to use the petrol pricestabilisation fund at a rate of 100-800 VND per litre./.
