Employees at the Dung Quat Oil Refineries get vaccinated against COVID-19 (Photo: PetroVietnam) Hanoi (VNA) - The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) is drastically implementing the dual goals of preventing the COVID-19 pandemic and maintaining production by vaccinating its employees.
Aiming at ensuring the health of employees and uninterrupted business and production, the group is among the first State-owned enterprises launching their vaccination scheme for workers.
Officially launched on May 12, the PetroVietnam scheme prioritises workers directly involved in production operation and working at construction sites and oil rigs.
It has so far attracted the participation of thousands of people at the group’s units located across the nation. The units include the Vietnam – Russia oil and gas joint venture Vietsovpetro, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation JSC (PV Gas), PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), and Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited./.
