Phu Tho to host Phet ball festival

The annual Phet Ball Festival in the northern province of Phu Tho is slated to take place on February 26 – 28, or the 11st – 13th day of the first lunar month.

Phu Tho (VNA) – The annual PhetBall Festival in the northern province of Phu Tho is slated to take place on February26 – 28, or the 11st – 13th day of the first lunar month.

The organising board, at a meeting onFebruary 12, said the spring festival, where people compete to seize six luckyballs, will increase the number of participants to 200 this year, double thatof last year.

Associated traditional rituals during theevent remain unchanged, it said.

The participants will be selected from TamNong district’s Hien Quang commune. They will be split into two teams, competingfor the balls on a restricted area spanning 2,000 square metres.-VNA

Top 10 finalists for 7th De Men Awards for Children 2026 announced
