Tokyo (VNA) – The Vietnamese Government will continue creating an environment conducive to foreign businesses and assign ministries, agencies and localities to deal with their difficulties in line with Vietnam's law, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

The Government leader made the statement at a reception on November 23 for executives of major Japanese corporationsin the fields of energy, apparel, retail, consumer goods and infrastructure, aspart of his ongoing visit to Japan.

He noted that if any problems are not solved, they could directly report them to him.

At the meeting, the PM congratulated the Japanese firms on their successful operations in Vietnam and welcomed their expansion of investment in fields ofVietnam’s demand such as green and renewable energy, digital transformation,e-commerce and sustainable development.

Chinh suggested them financially assist Vietnamin improving human resources up to international standards, share management experienceand devise strategies to export Vietnamese goods.

He also informed that Vietnam is safely, flexiblyadapting to and effectively controlling the pandemic for socio-economicdevelopment.

Business executives thanked the VietnameseGovernment and localities for their support over the past years. They describedVietnam as a significant and strategic market and wished to expand theiroperations in various areas in the country./.

Foreign policy contributes to propelling Vietnam into new era

2024 saw Vietnam significantly expanding its diplomatic activities with numerous partners and at various important multilateral forums and mechanisms. The country’s key leaders conducted a total of 60 external activities, including paying 21 visits to foreign countries and attend major multilateral conferences, as well as hosting 25 delegations of foreign leaders to Vietnam.
