Young volunteers help farmers consume farm produce (Photo: VNA) Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hasrecently issued the Vietnamese Youth Development Strategy for the 2021-2030period under Decision No.1331/QD-TTg.
The strategy aims to build acontingent of Vietnamese youths who have a strong sense of patriotism, strongwill, national pride, revolutionary ideals, aspirations, moral virtues, goodhealth and lifestyle, dynamism, creativity, and science-technology mastery.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has recently issued the Vietnamese Youth Development Strategy for the 2021-2030 period under Decision No.1331/QD-TTg It outlines six key tasks, including raisingtheir awareness of laws, offering legal assistance and fair access to studyopportunities and innovations, improving vocational training quality andcreating sustainable jobs, developing young and quality human resources, protectingand improving their health and spiritual lives, and upholding their role insocio-economic development and national defence.
By 2030, 80 percent of youths are expected toreceive career and job orientations, while 60 percent will undergo vocational training in combinationwith job creation. Each year, at least 700,000 young people will be able to get jobs.
The rate of unemployed youths in urban and ruralareas will be reduced to below 7 percent and 6 percent, respectively.
(Photo: VNA) Annually, over 80 percent of young people in urbanareas, 70 percent in rural areas and 60 percent in ethnic minority andmountainous areas in especially difficult circumstances will receive support tojoin cultural, art, sport and community activities in their schools, workplacesor residential areas.
Atleast half of young people will be able to master digital tools forcommunications and business on digital platforms by 2030./.
