
Hanoi (VNA) – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc hasunderlined that the Government,ministries, sectors and localities of Vietnamare always willing to meet and talk with investors from the Republic of Korea(RoK), listening to their feedback and providing optimal conditions for theiroperations.
Meeting the RoK Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Do-hyun in Hanoi onFebruary 20, the PM noted that the Vietnam-RoK partnership is developingcomprehensively in all fields, especially in economics, trade and investment, educationand training, and security and defence.
Lauding the contributions of the ambassador towardspromoting the bilateral strategic partnership, the PM expressed his hope that inthe future, Kim will continue helping to connect RoK enterprises with Vietnamesepeers.
For his part, Ambassador Kim held that the developmentpotential of Vietnam remains huge thanks to the Vietnamese Government’s effortsin promoting socio-economic development.
The diplomat said that RoK businesses, including leadinggroups such as Samsung, are very interested in expanding investment andoperations in Vietnam, focusing on high technology electronics andinfrastructure development.
Many RoK enterprises are looking to invest further in thecentral region of Vietnam where the development potential is high, he said.
Kim also told his host that the RoK, with its high demand forhuman resources in healthcare and care work for the elderly, hopes to cooperatewith Vietnam in these fields.
The ambassador also expressed his hope that Vietnam willsuccessfully host the second US-DPRK summit in Hanoi, describing the hosting asa practical and responsible contribution of Vietnam to the internationalcommunity, as well as the promotion of conciliation and peace in the world.–VNA
