He congratulated the UK on joining the Comprehensive andProgressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), affirmingVietnam's support and willingness to actively coordinate with the country topromote the effective and efficient implementation of the trade deal.
Showing his expectation on Vietnam’s development potential,the UK’s former PM said that his country always attaches importance to its strategic partnership with Vietnam and believes that the bilateral ties willgrow further in the coming time.
The two sides also expressed their delight at remarkable progressin cooperation between the TBI and some Vietnamese agencies after their meeting inMarch.

At the meeting, the two sides also discussed regional andinternational issues of mutual concern, especially trends of the fourthindustrial revolution, artificial intelligence, the rise of protectionism, andstrategic competition.
Chinh proposed the two sides strengthen cooperation to graspand take advantage of opportunities and overcome difficulties and challenges.
He also suggested the TBI promote the linkages of foreignpartners and investors in Vietnam, including investment funds and corporationsfrom Europe and the Middle East, and assist the country in attracting resourcesfor green growth, emission reduction and climate change response, and boostingdigital transformation.
The TBI Executive Chairman agreed with the Vietnamese PM’sview on the need to strengthen international solidarity and upholdmultilateralism in solving global and universal issues, especially inresponding to climate change and disease-related challenges. He affirmed that the TBI will always accompany and support Vietnam and continue to work with its relevantagencies to implement specific cooperation activities, programmes and projects./.
