Vietnamese, Korean students engage in cultural exchanges in Da Lat

Students at the Da Thanh Primary School in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong’s Da Lat city on June 26 kicked off cultural exchanges and experiential activities with 40 visiting lecturers and volunteer students from the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Gyeongsang National University.

Lam Dong (VNA) – Students at the Da Thanh Primary School in the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong’s Da Lat city on June 26 kicked off cultural exchanges and experiential activities with 40 visiting lecturers and volunteer students from the Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Gyeongsang National University.

Over the course of seven days until July 2, the Korean group will organise a variety of life skills education activities and run classes teaching the Korean language, Taekwondo, and K-Pop Dance, while helping the Vietnamese school repair its restrooms and decorate corridor walls. They are also set to donate 14 laptops to Da Thanh.

In recent years, Lam Dong has seen growing relations with various RoK provinces and cities.

In 2023, the number of foreign visitors to Da Lat surged, with Korean tourists accounting for 80% of the total. In the first six months of 2024, Lam Dong hosted some 301,000 foreign travellers, most of them are from the RoK./.
