PM to attend 26th ASEAN Summit in Malaysia

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will attend the 26 th ASEAN Summit in capital Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi city, Malaysia from April 26-27.
Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung will attend the 26 th ASEAN Summit incapital Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi city, Malaysia from April 26-27.

His attendance comes at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Tun Abdul Razak.

The 25 th ASEAN Summit took place in capital Nay Pyi Taw of Myanmaron November 11-13, 2014. It adopted a Declaration on the ASEANCommunity’s Post-2015 Vision, a Declaration on Strengthening the ASEANSecretariat and Reviewing the ASEAN Organs, and a Joint Statement onClimate Change.

Founded in August 1967, ASEANconsists of 10 member countries, namely Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia,Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand andVietnam.-VNA

Vietnam, China sign 32 cooperation documents

The documents include a cooperation plan between the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) for the 2026–2030 period; a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation between the Organisation Commission of the CPV Central Committee and its Chinese counterpart; and a cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee.
