At a workingsession with relevant ministries and agencies and Hanoi authoritieson August 13, the Government leader confirmed the policy of buildingseveral hi-tech areas to serve the application and development ofscience and technology in efforts to improve productivity and thenational economy’s competitiveness.
He said the slowprogress of the two projects is partly due to inappropriate allocationof investment resources, adding that the general scale of the twoprojects will be maintained while detailed planning should be revised tomaximize the efficiency of investment and prevent wastefulness.
Pinpointing site clearance and relocation of residents from the siteas the biggest problem, PM Dung asked Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam to hold ameeting with the Ministries of Finance and Planning and Investment thismonth to review and calculate capital resources, with a determination toaccomplish this work in the earliest time.
