 Hanoi (VNA) – Measurement and automatedassembling technology will be the focus at the “Vietnam Manufacturing Expo2017” which will take place from April 26 – 28 at the International Centre ForExhibition (I.C.E) in Hanoi.

Held by Reed Tradex Limited Company, the expo is hoped tosupport Vietnam’s manufacturing sector and facilitate Vietnamese producers’efforts to move toward “smart manufacturing”.

Leading brands of measuring devices and automation technologysuch as Hexagon, Nikon, Scantech, Wenzel and MAT will gather at the exhibition.Experts in the field will also be available to share knowledge and technologywith visitors.

The event also serves as an interactive ground for investorsand suppliers to expand their networks.

Automation is getting more important to manufacturing, said KasineePhantteeranurak, Project Manager of Reed Tradex Company.

She noted that investingin facilities and technology to boost productivity can scale down the totalcost in a long time, adding that it is time for Vietnamese producers to adoptsmart manufacturing.- VNA

Banks selling mortgaged assets to recover bad debts

The Viet Dragon Securities Company (VDSC) said that bad debts might continue to increase slightly this year, after a circular allowing banks to reschedule debt repayment periods and maintain the debt group for certain sectors expired at the end of 2024.

Banks' credit up 11.3% in HCM City in 2024
