Hanoi business information portal launched

Hanoi (VNA) –
After four months of development, the municipal Departmentof Information and Communications on December 25 officially launched the Hanoibusiness information portal with two domain names – http://hanoibusiness.vn and http://hanoibusiness.com.vn.

The portal aims to enhanceactivities to support business development through international integration,especially through the application of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

It will provide useful information about the legal environment, finance,banking sector, human resources markets and commercial events. It will alsohelp connect firms with markets and partners, especially in the informationtechnology industry in the city.

In addition to this, the portal will act as a dialogue channel between managementagencies and the business community.

At the event, the department signed a cooperation agreement with the Bank forInvestment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV).

Accordingly, the two sides will launch programmes together to support small-and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and innovation firms by providinginformation and consultancy on BIDV’s financial and banking products andservices.-VNA

Binh Duong lures additional 1 billion USD of investment

Seven foreign-invested projects, with a total registered capital of 1 billion USD in the southern province of Binh Duong have been granted in-principle approval and investment certificates at a recent meeting held by the provincial People's Committee.
