Reference exchange rate revised down on July 24

The State Bank of Vietnam revised its daily reference exchange rate down by 1 VND to 23,076 VND/USD on the morning of July 24.

- The State Bank of Vietnam revised its daily reference exchange rate downby 1 VND to 23,076 VND/USD on the morning of July 24.

With thecurrent trading band of  +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied by commercialbanks for the day is 23,768 VND/USD and the floor rate is 22,382 VND/USD.

At 8:15,Vietcombank kept the buying rate at 23,155 VND/USD and the selling rate at23,275 VND/USD, unchanged from the same time on July 23.

BIDV alsolisted the rates at 23,155 VND/USD (buying) and 23,275 VND/USD (selling), bothdown by 25 VND from the previous day.

Meanwhile,Techcombank reduced the rates by 25 VND from the same time on July 23 to 23,135VND/USD (buying), and 23,275 VND/USD (selling).-VNA

Binh Duong lures additional 1 billion USD of investment
