Bratislava (VNA) – A delegation from the central province of HaTinh paid a working trip to Slovakia from October 1-3 to promotebilateral economic ties with various localities, including Trnava region and its businesses.

OnOctober 2, Vietnamese Ambassador to Slovakia Nguyen Tuan and the Ha Tinhdelegation held a working session with President of the Trnava Self-GoverningRegion Jozef Víkupic and Mayor of Trnava Peter Brocka, during whichthey agreed to look toward the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) oneconomic cooperation between the two localities.

TheVietnamese delegation visited global auto maker Stellantis and Bizzcom Ltd in Bucany. Bizzcom has been innovatively developingrobots for the production of electric car lights in the region for a long time.

On theoccasion, the two localities planned to sign a comprehensive cooperationagreement in the fields of trade and investment, education and tourism. They alsoscheduled joint work to honour the bronze plaque in remembrance of President HoChi Minh and support the Vietnamese community in Trnava.

OnOctober 3, Ambassador Tuan, along with the delegation and representatives ofthe Vietnamese community, visited and laid flowers at the bronze plaquecommemorating President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Slovakia in the town of HorneSaliby. This plaque is considered evidence of the friendship and solidaritybetween the two nations.

Earlier on October 1, the delegation visited and held aworking session with the Vietnamese Embassy in Slovakia./.

Binh Duong lures additional 1 billion USD of investment

Seven foreign-invested projects, with a total registered capital of 1 billion USD in the southern province of Binh Duong have been granted in-principle approval and investment certificates at a recent meeting held by the provincial People's Committee.
