President promotes closer trade, investment ties with Mongolia

President Truong Tan Sang on Apr. 24 affirmed that Vietnam iswilling to open its doors for Mongolian businesses to invest in thecountry.

He made this statement while receivingMongolian Ambassador Palam Sundev who is going to conclude his workingterm in Vietnam .

Sang expressed his pleasureabout the recent progress in the two countries’ cooperative relations inthe fields of trade, education and training, as well as theircoordination at regional and international forums.

He welcomed the Mongolian President’s visit and hoped the two countries’relevant agencies will make good preparations to ensure its success.

The President also highly valued the ambassador’sefforts during his working term which strengthened the two countries’traditional friendship.

Ambassador Sundev stressedthat the two countries’ relations have improves with the exchanges ofhigh-ranking delegations and the establishment of the Vietnam-MongoliaBusiness Association.

He expressed his hope that theMongolian President’s upcoming official visit will tighten the twocountries’ relations and also thanked Vietnam for its assistance infood and ambulances to Mongolia .-VNA
