Hanoi (VNA) – President Vo Van Thuong will lead a Vietnamese delegation to attend the coronation of King Charles III of the United Kingdom from May 4 to 6.
The participation will be made at the invitation of the Royal Family of the UK, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs./.
The Vietnamese Embassy in the UK on April 18 introduced a special edition of the UK’s Diplomat Magazine featuring the Vietnam-UK relations on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties (1973-2023).
A seminar on new areas for trade and business cooperation, especially in energy, climate change adaptation, green transformation and finance, education, healthcare, technology, and infrastructure, between Vietnam and the UK was held by the Vietnamese Embassy in the UK in collaboration with British Expertise International (BEI) on April 18.
Ambassador to the UK Nguyen Hoang Long spoke of cooperation opportunities between Birmingham and Vietnam, especially its big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, in the fields of education-training, health care and culture, during his recent meeting with the city’s Lord Mayor Maureen Cornish.
Vietnam hopes that the UK will continue to help Vietnam improve its medical capacity, develop the pharmaceutical industry and build a resilient health system, President Vo Van Thuong told UK Ambassador to Vietnam Iain Frew during a reception on April 28.
