Hanoi (VNA) – A dispatch from the Prime Minister was signed and issued on May 14, directing the resolution of a mine incident at the Quang Hanh - TKV coal company, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin) in Cam Pha city, the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh.
According to information from the provincial People's Committee, at approximately 3 PM on May 13, a serious incident occurred at one of Vinacomin's mines, resulting in the death of three workers and injuring one.
To promptly address the aftermath and prevent similar incidents, the PM, in the dispatch, asked the Quang Ninh authorities to direct relevant forces to urgently clarify the cause, remedy the consequences, stabilise production, and strictly handle any violations according to legal regulations.
