A mobile promotion festival to celebrate the first general election for National Assembly (NA), the elections of the 13 th NA and People's Councils at all levels for the 2011-16 term, will open in the northern province of Tuyen Quang on April 28.
Being co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committees of Tuyen Quang, Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lang Son and Bac Giang provinces, the event will take place in 25 districts of these provinces with the participation of 30 political promotion troupes from 30 cities and provinces nationwide.
At a press briefing in Hanoi on April 15, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Huynh Vinh Ai, said that this event offers a chance to popularise achievements made by Vietnam’s NA over the past 65 years, as well to introduce traditional cultural identities of localities.
The closing ceremony will take place in Bac Giang province on May 5./.
