Publishers to print annual event listing

Two leading national publishers will co-produce an events directory every year, recording the preceding year's domestic highlights as well as glimpses of important national and international events for the coming year.

Two leading national publisherswill co-produce an events directory every year, recording the precedingyear's domestic highlights as well as glimpses of important national andinternational events for the coming year.


The VietnamEvent Book Centre (VietnamEvent), a subsidiary of the Vietnam RecordsBook (Vietbooks), and the Vietnam News Agency Publishing House haveagreed to publish the directory from this year onwards.

VietnamEvent staff will collect and select two most important eventsthat took place in the country every day in Vietnam, based on VietnamNews Agency publications, press agency dispatches, as well informationgathered from enterprises, organisations and national agencies.

This year's Vietnam Events Directory is expected to be release in April./.

Dien Bien provides training for northern Lao cadres

Language test helps promote Vietnamese in Japan

Contestants included university students majoring in Vietnamese, translators, and professionals working in Vietnamese-related fields, as well as those with a keen interest in Vietnam, its people, and especially its cuisine.
