PV Power generates 200 billion kWh of electricity in 13 years

- PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) hassupplied 200 billion kWh to the national grid since it started operations 13years ago, confirming its position as the top power supplier in the country.

PV Power currently operates seven power plants across thecountry with a total capacity of 4,205 MW. They include coal-fired andgas-fired power, and hydropower projects.

In recent years, with safe and efficient operations, PV Power has generated over21 billion kWh for the national grid per year.

According to PV Power Deputy General Director NguyenDuy Giang, with domestic fossil energy being increasingly exhausted and adecline in potential for hydroelectric development, PV Power has determinedthat its development strategy must be green, clean and sustainable.

Apart from power projects using fuel from the CaVoi Xanh (Blue Whale) field, PV Power is focusingon developing thermal power plants using imported liquefied natural gas (LNG), alongwith renewable energy projects./.

Taxes on real estate based on time property is held not feasible: Justice Ministry

Ministry proposes developing green e-commerce law

The MoIT's draft proposal to develop the Law on E-commerce will be included in the National Assembly's law and ordinance development programme in 2025 and will be presented to the NA for consideration and comments in October 2025, before being approved at a NA meeting in May 2026.
