According to the Yonhap News Agency, Chiefpresidential security advisor Chung Eui-yong presided over the session of theNational Security Council (NSC), hours after the DPRK said it would ahigh-level delegation to attend the closing ceremony on February 25.
The NSC session was attended by ForeignMinister Kang Kyung-wha, Defence Minister Song Young-moo, National IntelligenceService chief Suh Hoon and top presidential security aides.
The eight-member delegation, led byKim Yong-chol, vice chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party ofKorea (WPK) and director of the United Front Department of the WPK CentralCommittee, will arrive in the RoK on February 25 for a three-day visit,according to the RoK's Unification Ministry.
RoK President Moon Jae-in is expectedto meet with the delegation.-VNA
