Reception marks DPRK Workers Party’s founding

Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to Vietnam Ma Chol Su held a reception in Hanoi on Oct. 8 to mark the 65 th founding anniversary of his country’s Workers’ Party (Oct. 10).

At the reception, Ambassador Ma Chol Su said the Workers’ Party,headed by General Secretary Kim Jong Il, and the entire army and peopleare determined to successfully implement the national revolutionarycause and build a prosperous and peaceful DPRK.

The Workers’ Party, Government and people of DPRK always attachimportance to the traditional solidarity and friendship between the DPRKand Vietnam and aim to further promote the relationship andcooperation between the two Parties, States and people, thuscontributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in theAsia-Pacific region and the world at large, he said.

For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong confirmed thatthe Vietnamese Party, State and people now as in the past support theDPRK people’s revolutionary cause and believe that under the leadershipof General Secretary Kim Jong Il, DPRK people would obtain greaterachievements in the national construction and defence and in theimplementation of national unification.

On this occasion, Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh sent a message of congratulations to General Secretary Kim Jong Il./.
