Hanoi (VNA) - The State Bank of Vietnam set the daily reference exchange rate for the US dollar at 24,134 VND/USD on September 25, down 12 VND from the previous day.
With the current trading band of +/- 5%, the ceiling rate applicable for commercial banks during the day is 25,341 VND/USD and the floor rate 22,927 VND/USD.
At major commercial banks, the opening hour rates also decreased.
At 8:17am, Vietcombank listed the buying rate at 24,430 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,770 VND/USD, both down 40 VND from September 24.
Similarly, BIDV cut both rates by 20 VND, posting the buying rate at 24,450 VND/USD and the selling rate at 24,790 VND/USD./.
