With the current trading band of +/- 3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,116 VND and the floor rate 21,777 VND/USD.
The opening hour rates at major commercial banks saw only slight changes.
Vietinbank revised both their rates down by 5 VND, buying the greenback at 22,675 VND and selling at 22,745 VND/USD.
Meanwhile, Vietcombank kept its rates unchanged from December 11, at 22,675 VND/USD (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling).
The rates listed by BIDV also remained the same as on the previous day, at 22,680 VND (buying) and 22,750 VND/USD (selling).-VNA
