With the current trading band of +/-3 percent, the ceiling rate applied to commercial banks during the day is 23,093 VND and the floor rate 21,757 VND per USD.
Most major commercial banks kept their listed rates unchanged from December 22.
The opening hour rates at Vietcombank was 22,675 VND (buying) and 22,745 VND (selling), the same as at the end of last week.
Both BIDV and Vietinbank maintained their rates at 22,680 VND (buying) and 22,750 VND (selling), unchanged from December 22.-VNA
